Actress Anjali has played a cameo in filmmaker Ramsubramaniam’s ‘Taramani’, which features debutant Vasanth Ravi and singer-turned-actress Andrea Jeremiah in the lead.
“It was at the personal request of direct Ram that I accepted this offer. It’s a role quite contrary to anything I’ve done lately,” Anjali told.
“It’s a fun film. In the beginning of my career, I experimented a lot with offbeat films. I’m more interested in commercial films now because I’m keen to strike a perfect balance,” she said.
