Sometime ago it was reported that Kannada actor-filmmaker Sudeep was keen on remaking Ravi Teja’s popular Telugu movie ‘Balupu’. As Sudeep has previously starred in successful remakes of films such as ‘Singam’ and ‘Mirchi, this development send his die-hard fans into frenzy. Now, however, it seems that the rumoured remake is not happening anytime soon.The ‘Rann’ star recently took to Twitter, denying the news.
Directed by Gopichand Malineni, ‘Balupu’ was released in 2013. Besides Teja, it also featured Shruti Haasan and Prakash Raj in lead roles.
