CPI ‘bus yatra’ for AP special status to enter East Godavari today

cpiThe ‘bus yatra’ launched by the Communist Party of India (CPI) demanding special status for Andhra Pradesh will enter East Godavari district on Monday. CPI district secretary T. Madhu on Sunday said the campaign, which was launched in Srikakulam, would enter Tuni at 9.30 a.m. on Monday.

After public meetings at Tuni and Pithapuram, the yatra will enter the city in the afternoon, and a public meeting will be organised at Balaji Cheruvu junction at 4 p.m. CPI State general secretary K. Ramakrishna, Rythu Sangham secretary Ravula Venkaiah, Mala Mahanadu president Karem Sivaji, YSRC district president Jyothula Nehru and Congress leader Kandula Durgesh will address the meeting.
