Rs 100 crore investment for the education hub in Gajwel

education hubAn investment of Rs 100 crore planed for the education hub  in Gajwel which is the Telangana Chief Minister, K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s constituency. The Telangana government has also started to bring together all existing schools and colleges in one place. Sources said that setting up of the Gajwel education hub would be taken up in phases.

 Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari had recently visited Gajwel to examine the level of facilities already available and the requirement for the education hub. The TS government is moving firmly and has already begun work for shifting and construction of all the existing education institutions to one place.
“There are schools, junior colleges and degree colleges for boys and girls. The government has ordered the shifting of these to one place which will be the education hub,” a senior school education department official said.
But the government is also considering new educational institutions including an engineering college in the same campus. “We want to do it in a phased manner. The existing institutions are being shifted now. After that we will try to setup new institutions like an engineering college. Plans are being chalked out,” sources in the education department said.
