Hyderabad to get Uber’s biggest facility for $50 Million

uberUS-based cab aggregator firm Uber which drove into the Hyderabad city in January 2014 has now decided to park its largest international facility outside US here at an investment of over $50 million in the next five years.

“Uber will invest upwards of $50 million in Hyderabad over the next five years to establish a state-of-the-art facility that will house around 500 employees. Hyderabad was always the preferred choice. The supportive and forward-thinking government, deep talent pool, excellent real estate and high standard of living were key factors that influenced this decision,” said Siddharth Shanker, general manager (Hyderabad), Uber.

Uber and the state government announced that they will work towards creating thousands of jobs and entrepreneurship opportunities.
