The following reports comes on the sidelines of ‘worrying health condition of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and AIDMK chief Jayalalitha’.Muthuvel Karunanidhi, the former chief minister of Tamil Nadu and chief of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam party, is reportedly unwell and receiving medical treatment at his residence in Chennai.
DMK party, on Tuesday, issued a statement saying the veteran’s health is disturbed due to the drug allergy caused by the regular medicine that he consumes. However, they did not specify what was actually wrong with the 92-year old Karunanidhi. “He is resting completely at home and is receiving medical attention from doctors,” the statement said.
The party members also requested not to disturb him as a courtesy of respect for his privacy and also clarified that he cannot make any comments at this time. Earlier reports were rife that he was seriously ill and admitted to hospital.
