Due to Monkeys Mischieviuos action several trains running between Vijayawada and Hyderabad were delayed by four hours.
The monkeys caused a short circuit in the signalling system at the Elugur railway station in Sangem mandal.
The problem began at about 7 am on Wednesday when monkeys were running amok on the cables near the Elugur railway station, about 25 km from Warangal.
Railway officials suspect two wires came in contact when the monkeys were swinging from them, causing the short circuit that took the signalling system out of action.
With this, the passengers travelling in the early morning trains were put to inconvenience.
