Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh reviewed the passing out parade of over 530 newly inducted Cisf officers in Hyderabadad on yesterday.
Singh attended the event at the National Industrial Security Academy (NISA) of the paramilitary force where 48 freshly inducted and trained Assistant Commandants (ACs), eleven promotee ACs and 478 Sub-inspectors will pass out.
After this parade, the Home Minister decorated meritorious and distinguished service medal-winning officers of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).
CISF Director General Surender Singh and other senior officials of the force were also present on the occasion.
The CISF, an about 1.47-lakh personnel strong force, is tasked to secure the country’s major civil airports and installations in the aerospace and nuclear domain.
