Legendary film producer and Dada Saheb Phalke award winner ,78-year-old Daggubati Rama Naidu passed away on Wednesday. The Guinness book recorded producer had been suffering from cancer for the last few months .
Rama Naidu has introduced 12 heroines ,some heros to the film industry , produced more than 140 movies in several Indian languages under his Suresh Productions banner. His son D Suresh is also a producer. Well-known film star Venkatesh is his younger son.
The Telugu film industry has expressed shock at the demise of the ‘Movie Moghul’ as he was known as. Rama Naidu was known to give utmost important to the script than the artistes. He encouraged small movies for the persistence of industry and its workers.
