For the health purpose of Godavari Pushkaram pilgrims a medical camp will be planned by AP government.
Andhra Pradesh Health Minister K Srinivas informed reporters in Rajahmundry that there will be a huge crowd for a holy dip at Godavari river due to the 12 day Godavari Pushkaram in the month of July this year. Hence, we are making all efforts to reach the needs of pilgrims to avoid any mishaps at the time of occasion.
The 244 ghats on the banks of Godavari river in Rajahmundry will be supervised by senior medical officers and ambulances will be available all the time during this occasion.
Further more,special medical camps will organised at railway and bus stations. The minister ,District Collector H Arun Kumar and senior medical and health officials were examined the arrangements for this event.
