Hyderabad: Customs officials arrested a passenger who has hidden 584 gm gold biscuits in his underwear on Thursday at Rajiv Gandhi International airport, Hyderabad.
He was arrived on a flight from Muscat. Security officials grew suspicious after he passed through a body scanner and detained him. He confessed to smuggling gold on being questioned.
The gold was seized and further investigation is on regarding the man’s possible links with other smuggling gangs in the city.
