Rajinikanth Remembers ‘Mahatma’ APJ Abdul Kalam

rajinikanthSuperstar Rajinikanth feels “blessed enough” to have lived during a time that had a “mahatma” like former president APJ Abdul Kalam.

In a tribute to DR Kalam, Rajinikanth said that the scientist inspired millions of people with his life and achievements.

In a series of tweets he said: I  did not have the privilege of seeing our mahatma Gandhiji, Kamaraj or Barathiyaar but was blessed enough to live admist mahatma Kalamji.

He further tweeted : ” From humble beginnings Abdul Kalam ji rose to great heights but continued to live humble and simple. He lived to inspire millions of people”.
Dr Kalam, 83, died after a cardiac arrest during a lecture at the IIM Shillong on July 27. His funeral will take place at his hometown Rameswaram on July 30.
