Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) launched free roaming on Monday, facilitating its mobile customers across the country to receive incoming calls at no cost, BSNL General Manager, Kurnool. P.S. John said.
Similarly, it has extended its landline customers the facility to make free calls to all landline and mobile numbers of BSNL and other networks across the country between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m., Mr. John told a news conference here. As the facility was extended to certain plans, good response came forth from subscribers to change the plan and apply for new land phones. Subscribers of other networks who want to switch over to BSNL network can send an SMS “PORT space Mobile No.” to 1900, Mr. John said.
