Microsoft has kept its promise of making you a part of its Xbox app-shaping program by introducing the Xbox Beta app for Windows 10.
The Xbox Beta app program gives Xbox lovers an opportunity to provide early inputs on features and enhancements coming to the gaming app on the latest software.
The beta app can be understood as one working in a similar fashion as the Xbox One Preview Program which lets end-users become testers of new features prior to their larger roll-out by providing feedback for an improved end product.
Users can choose to be part of the program to build the Xbox app for Windows 10 by installing the beta app for free.
Along with the Xbox Beta app, the software giant also announced updates to the Xbox App for Windows 10 that includes features like real-time friends list presence, automatic refresh of activity feed , game progress comparison, and the much requested ability to use the app and other input devices for text entry in search boxes and more on Xbox One.
