Venkatesh starrer Okkadu was a major breakthrough in Telugu film industry. The film, directed by Sripriya Sethupathi and it is one of the best films, especially in terms of screenplay and direction, made in a long time.
According to the reports, Manam movie fame Shriya Saran is all set to play the female lead in remake of Dhrushyam Hindi version. Whereas, the Venkatesh role occupies by Ajay Devgan in the Hindi remake of the Telugu film Drushyam.
The Hindi version of Drushyam is being directed by Nishikant Kamat.Shriya confirmed the news.
Shriya Saran plays the mother of two kids in the film and popular actress Tabu plays a cop. Shriya’s recent Telugu film was Gopala Gopala in which she was cast opposite Venkatesh .
