B.V.S.R. Engineering College Chairman Buchepalli Subba Reddy and Head of the ECE Department, D. Malakonda Reddy, who were arrested on September 14 on charge of abetting suicide of a B. Tech student on September 5, were released on bail from the sub-jail here on Tuesday.
The former Darsi MLA was taken in a procession from sub-jail by YSRC activists led by its district President M. Ashok Reddy. Granting bail, VI Additional Sessions and District Judge G. Sridevi in Markapur asked the duo to appear before Thallur Police on every Saturday and cooperate with the investigation into the case.
