Chandrababu launches our soil, our water for Capital

chandra babuAP Chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday said that the new state capital, Amaravati, is the most ideal place as per Vaastu Shastra. “Amaravati has both ‘sthala’ (land) and Vaastu ‘balam’ (strength). It is the land where Gautam Buddha had visited. The new capital city reflects the culture and traditions of the state. It will emerge as the pride of Telugus,” Naidu said urging the ‘five crore people’ in Andhra Pradesh to participate in the building of the state capital. Earlier, Naidu launched ‘Mana Matti, Mana Neeru’ (our soil, our water) campaign in his native Naravaripalle in Chandragiri mandal of Chittoor district. He collected soil and water from the village centre and offered special prayers for the success of the new capital city. Hindu, Muslim and Christian priests blessed Naidu and led the special prayers. Naidu said that though Singapore and Japan are involved in the capital building, the basic architecture will revolve around the Telugu culture, history and tradition. Meanwhile, all the ministers in Chandrababu Naidu’s cabinet conducted special prayers in their respective native places and collected soil and water.
