‘Mee Intiki Mee Bhoomi’ 3 week programme will starts from Aug.10 in Vizag

chandraThe three-week ‘Mee Intiki, Mee Bhoomi’ programme, aimed at updating the digitised land records by holding gram sabhas in every village will be launched by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in Visakhapatnam on August 10.

Deputy Chief Minister K E Krishnamurthy told reporters here on Thursday that errors had crept into ‘Mee Bhoomi’ portal which makes details of all land records available to the people. Following complaints from people and farmers, the government decided to launch ‘Mee Bhoomi, Mee Intiki’ programme to update the records by rectifying the mistakes.

During the programme, revenue officials would visit every village and gram sabhas. The dates of gram sabhas would be intimated to the people two days in advance. All the revenue records would be made available to the people and every farmer’s land would be linked to Aadhar number after verification. In case the farmers/ villagers suggest changes in their records, the issue would be resolved within a month.

He said MPs, MLAs, MLCs, ZP chairmen, and MPP chiefs would attend the programme.
