Krishna District collector Babu initiated a good social responsible task that Oil and Gas companies should adopt villages in which they are pursuing their work.
According the reports, Government special officers are ordered by Babu who is the collector of Krishna District to make agree to natural gas and oil companies to adopt villages. The companies which are to be asked for this development of village action are such as Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited, Gas Authority of India Limited and Reliance and others .
In Krishna district the palces where exploration of natural gas and oil is being allowed by the government are such as
Krishna-Godavari basin, Kriuthivennu, Bantumilli and Diviseema area covering Koduru, Avanigadda and Nagayalanka mandal.
Mr. Babu well said that the rural infrastructure such as developing road connectivity and other facilities would be improved once the villages were adopted. He instructed the Special Officers to prepare a list of villages that were eligible to be adopted by the listed companies which were permitted for oil exploration.
