After bifurcation nine months are over but from the central authorities there is no response in respect to special status for Andhra Pradesh that was promised before the separation of state by former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
Inspite of the both ruling parties in AP state and central are in mutual friendship there is no progress in the issues of both Special Category Status as well as Industrial incentives. Even the TDP is unable to defend itself publicly for not getting the promised financial package.
Venkaiah Naidu, who demanded 10 years special status for Andhra Pradesh and he assured that if BJP came to power, he would definitely make sure to get 10 years special status for Ap. After becoming Union minister, he is giving excuses by saying that the Centre’s financial position is worse.
