Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday appreciated Finance Minister Arun Jaitley’s Budget calling it investment-friendly which removes all doubts on tax issues and assures investors that India has a stable and predictable tax system.
He also congratulated Jaitley for doing an excellent job in respecting aspirations of the states and at the same time delivering on national priorities.
“Budget indicates our commitment to ensure that development of Eastern & Northeastern parts of India gets an impetus & drives future growth,” Modi tweeted.
