‘Venkaiah Naidu discredits people of Andhra Pradesh’:Raghuveera Reddy

raghuveera reddyThe Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee President N. Raghuveera Reddy Friday said Union Minister Venkiah Naidu’s remarks during the ground-breaking ceremony of NIT at Tadepalligudem in West Godavari district were unbecoming of his position.

Accusing Mr. Naidu of “demeaning” the people of Andhra Pradesh, the APCC chief said that “he forgot he was a Union Minister and not just an MP, and he ought to have sympathised with all the people of this country. By saying that he was elected from outside the State, and that he never intended to contest from the State in future, he revealed his party’s hatred and disinclination to resolving the problems facing A.P.”

He also claimed that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Chandrababu Naidu deserved a place in the Gunniess book for “dedicating to the nation a project [Pattiseema project], which was yet to be completed.
