32-year-old, Uber cab driver, Shiv Kumar Yadav ghas given his statement to police in the case of raping a 27-year-old woman executive in his cab Dec 5 last year, told Delhi Police .
Yadav allegedly raped the woman on the night of Dec 5 last year when she was headed back home in north Delhi’s Inderlok area in the cab he was driving. He disclosing about the Dec 5 rape incident to police.He also explained that incident as: The girl who was seated in the back seat was sleeping… Finding her alone, my intention got corrupted .
Police said that Yadav was involved in a molestation in 2003 and rape case in 2013 in Mainpuri in Uttar Pradesh.He was involved in a 2011 rape case by a Delhi court.
Police chargesheeted Yadav under sections 376 (rape), 366 (kidnapping or abducting woman), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) of the Indian Penal Code.
